Kilrea & District No.5 Credit Union Ltd is wholly owned by its members. Some members have lots of shares whilst others own just a few. Nevertheless each member has an equal say in the running of this credit union when it comes to the AnnualGeneral Meeting. At this meeting (usually in March) all the members have an equal right to attend and hear from a professional accountant how the business has progressed durng the previous financial year.

Members can ask as many questions as they like and can put themselves up for election to the Board of Directors if they so wish. One third of the Board must stand down every year thus giving ample opportunity for new Directors to get elected!

The Board is presently under-represented by women and would therefore welcome more interest from the female share-holders at the next AGM. Please enquire from the Chairman or any other Board member......
