Kilrea & District No.5 Credit Union Ltd was formed in 1988 by officers and friends of Kilrea District Loyal Orange Lodge for the purpose of providing a co-operative type savings and loans system for their members.

A limited company was created with a Board of Directors. Subsequently they amended their rules of entry 'Common Bond' to include not only the members of the District Lodge but also their families and friends.

So if you are a member of the Loyal Orders of Kilrea (i.e. Orange Order, Royal Black Preceptory or Apprentice Boys of Derry) or deemed to be a friend / relation of a member, then you can apply for membership.

There is an application form to complete which you should deliver to the Credit Union's office at 19 New Row, Kilrea along with a joining fee of £2.00.

Your application will then be considered for approval at the regular monthly Board meeting.
